Just what it says on the tin. Basically, you can spice up any move by complicating it with crank flips, uni-spins, taking out a foot etc... The most basic of all, the 180° uni-spin will jazz up your correction hops.

Stand up on the uni.

1° Preparing for a hop, grab the seat with both hands, in the reversed order to your comfortable position.

2° Flex up in extension and take off your feet from both pedals instead of pulling the uni against your soles.

3° As you are clear off the pedals, start spinning the unicycle by the seat (make sure your pedals stay even).

4° While the uni spins, tuck your knees further up to avoid landing back too early.

5° Hold it until your pedals are aligned again, with a normal seat-grab position.

6° Drop back onto your pedals and re-position your feet well before you ride off.

Next the 360 and 540 unispin?
Pushing the uni-spin further is just a matter of jumping higher or spinning the unicycle faster. Though, getting a spin beyond 180 degree is much more difficult because you can't hold the seat all the way around. So you'll have to jump and spin the uni, then let it spin in the air, and catch it back to stop it spinning and land on the pedals again. That's pretty hard and you wouldn't want to learn this without a lid on and some serious shin pads. To gain some confidence, practise the different steps separately. For example, learn how to spin the unicycle by jumping off it and spinning the saddle, but land both feet on the ground. Then, just learn how to jump mount (that is jump directly onto the pedals) and find your balance. Then combine the two in one move.
