Not only good for destruction, banging the front wheel is the way to climb up very high.

The ultimate technique....Really difficult
1° Like for the roll-over, start at least two crank turns away from the edge to climb on. In the last crank turn, lift the front wheel when pushing on the goofy pedal (left) to get the wheel up towards the edge of the obstacle..
2° When the front wheel arrives on the edge (or just below), finish the crank turn with a good kick on the right pedal to bang the front wheel upwards. 3° Take advantage of the extra upward impulsion that arises from the wheel bang, and hop forward as if riding up a virtual steep slope that passes-by the edge. 4° Finish up the move by trying to lean forward, making sure that you won't fall back. Full brakes on landing to grip the tyres.

Sounds complicated?
Well, it is really difficult to get everything right at the same time. This move requires very good timing and very good positioning of the bike before take off, so adjust your marks before you start, count your pedal strokes to reach the wall with your good foot. Ideally, the front wheel just bounces on the edge, pulling the bike upwards.

Kenny makes it look easy but this is probably one of the reasons why he is three times world champion in MTB trials riding.

The next technique after that? Well, at this stage, you should be quite happy with your skills, and mine are getting limited.
Your feedback is welcome.
